MORRIS – As part of Public Health Week, which runs from April 7 to April 13, the Grundy County Health Department collaborated with local elementary and grade schools for a fun kids coloring contest!

The coloring contest is set for kids in grades kindergarten through fifth divided into two categories for judging purposes. Category one includes grades kindergarten through second grades and category two includes third through fifth grades.

There will be a total of six winners that will be announced on the local radio stations Monday, April 7 to kick off Public Health Week. There will be a first, second and third place winner in each grade group.

Each of the winning coloring pages will be proudly put out as placemats in local restaurants during Public Health Week. The winners of the contest will also receive prizes.

All of the colored pages the health department receives back from the schools will be displayed in the Grundy County Administration Building throughout Public Health Week.
