Rezin and Anthony host senior fair on Wednesday

MORRIS – State Sen. Sue Rezin, R-Morris, will host a free senior fair with state Rep. John Anthony, R-Plainfield, aimed at providing screenings and information for seniors in the area.

The event will be from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday at White Oak School, 54 White Oak Drive in Morris, according to a news release.

Information available at the fair includes nutrition, eye health, assisted living, diabetes, transportation, veterans’ assistance, safety in your home, library programs for seniors, internet safety, identity theft and hospice.

In addition, attendees will be able to take advantage of blood pressure, posture and diabetes screenings, as well as chair massages, mini acupuncture treatments and a health exam.
