Minooka honors college signees

MINOOKA – As has become the norm around Minooka Community High School, a good number of athletes were honored recently at the Spring Collegiate Signing Night.

Adam Alexander, son of Cary and Jean Alexander, will move on to play basketball at Roosevelt University; Marisol Galvan, daughter of Pedro Galvan and Maria Remilgio, will play soccer for Northern Illinois University; Devin Ingram, son of Daniel and Patricia Ingram, will participate in track and field for Lewis University; Emily Koulis, daugher of Cynthis Koulis, will bowl for Marian University; Nicholaus Miller, son of Michael and Susan Miller, will play soccer for University of St. Francis; Gabriel Parker, son of Dave and Kathy Parker, will play football for Olivet Nazarene University; Megan Quirk, daugher of Peter and Erica Quirk, will play softball for Quincy University; Haley Renison, daughter of Steven and Christie Renison, will participate in track and field for Lewis University; Janile Rogers, daughter of Rueshon Dantzler and Jason Rogers, will participate in track and field for University of Illinois; Kyle Shelton, son of Douglas and Jody Shelton, will participate in track and field for Taylor University; Jacob Smith, son of Steven and Christi Smith, will participate in track and field for University of Nebraska; Lacey Viano, daughter of Michael and Jayne Viano, will play rugby for Eastern Illinois University, Geraldine Westerhoff, daughter of Jacob and Michelle Westerhoff, will play softball for Quincy University; and Christopher Wilson, son of Patrick and DeAnna Wilson, will participate in track and field for Lewis University.
