MORRIS – The 3 French Hens French Country Market was recently picked as “a Midwestern must stop” by Vintage Style magazine.

The market is holding its third market of the season from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday on the I&M Canal at 123 W. Illinois Ave, Morris, and organizers Monica Spence-Vogel and Traci Tessone are excited to share with customers that they were recently included in the magazine’s article that talks about the unique location, and the wide variety of vendors who regularly set-up.

More than 130 vendors offer everything from farmers market fare to antiques, artisans, one of a kinds and organics.

“We are thrilled to be highlighted in an international magazine, with attention given not only to our venue, but to our community as well,” Spence-Vogel said, in the release.

“It is amazing on market days the amount of folks mentioning they have read about us in a publication, or newspaper article,” Tessone added in the release. “We have had shoppers from St. Louis, Michigan, Arizona, California, even Alaska.”

Saturday’s event is featuring a French Luncheon, with artisan Rosemary Barnes, from Villa Barnes, sharing how to create with transfer application. Each luncheon guest will create their own make and take project.
