The crowd had a perfect night for The Chauffeurs concert held Thursday on the Morris Courthouse lawn.

MORRIS – The Chauffeurs took Morris music lovers on a journey back to the authentic sounds of 1950s, ’60s and ’70s on Thursday night.

The concert was a part of the 2014 City of Morris Summer Concert Series, which brings a musical act every other Thursday to the Grundy County Courthouse lawn.

The concerts are free, all you need is a lawn chair.

The Morris Summer Concert Series continues at 6:30 p.m. July 31, when “Ann Stewart and the Banjo Buddies Dixieland Band” is scheduled to play.

The Aug. 14 act is River Road Trio and an acoustic trio featuring Terry Carter, Jonelle Carter and Kyle Ripsch.
