University of Illinois Extension hosting mystery camp

MORRIS – The University of Illinois Extension Office – Grundy County will host a mystery camp Aug. 6 at the Grundy County Fairgrounds, 8890 Route 47 in Morris.

The camp will be from 1 to 3 p.m. and is open to anyone 8 to 14 years old. 

Youth who attend mystery camp will use science and technology to help solve a "murder."  There will be area professionals speaking about their jobs and crime scene investigation. The youth will complete hands-on activities related to crime scenes and DNA in order to help solve the mystery. 

Pre-registration is required with the University of Illinois Extension Office – Grundy County. The cost to attend the camp is $4. To register, call 815-942-2725 or visit the office at 4004 N Division St., Morris.
