Morris district 54 gives back to school information

MORRIS – Morris School District 54 will hold Back to School open houses at both White Oak and Shabbona schools.

On Aug. 15 in the White Oak gym:

• Second grade – 4 p.m. • Kindergarten – 5 p.m.

• First grade – 6 p.m.

On Aug. 18 in the White Oak gym:

• Fifth grade – 4 p.m. • Third grade – 5 p.m. • Fourth grade – 6 p.m.

On Aug. 19 at Shabbona School:

• Sixth to eighth grade – 6 p.m.

Lunch, milk prices posted for 2014-15 year:

Student lunch – $2.65

Extra milk – $0.35

Reduced lunch – $0.40

School supply lists are available at Walmart, Walgreens or online at www.morris54.org.

Bus transportation is provided for students living outside a one and a half mile radius of the school they are attending or in an approved hazardous area within one and a half miles. District 54 provides pay-to-ride services for families that live within the designated area and wish to receive transportation for their children. Anyone registering for transportation services after July 26 will not be guaranteed bus service the first two weeks of school.
