Published: Tuesday, July 29, 2014 8:35 p.m. CDT

MORRIS – We Care of Grundy County reminds community members with home gardens that if you find yourself with an excess of produce this season to not let it go to waste – We Care would be happy to take it.

The produce will be given to Grundy County residents in need who utilize We Care's food pantry.

Produce can be dropped off at the We Care office, 520 W. Illinois Ave., Morris, anytime between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday or on Thursday until 5:30 p.m.

There also is a drop box outside of the door that faces the Canalport courtyard. If you leave something in the drop box in the evening or on the weekend, leave a message at 815-942-6389 that the box needs to be checked.
