Grundy County announces indictments

MORRIS – Grundy County State’s Attorney Jason Helland announced that, on Sept. 2, the grand jury returned the following indictments. The public is advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

• Kristina Carmen-Valdez, 35, of Coal City, was indicted for unlawful possession of heroin, a Class 4 felony.

• Martin Fornero, 27, of Streator, was indicted for obstructing justice, a Class 4 felony.

• Heather Spano, 29, of Hometown, was indicted for unlawful possession ofheroin, a Class 4 felony.

• Chance Templet, 35, of Diamond, was indicted for unlawful possession ofcocaine, a Class 4 felony.

• Michael Wess, 47, of Normal, was indicted for driving while revoked, a Class 4 felony.
