Man faces battery charges after punching, choking teen

A GARDNER resident was cited Sunday by Grundy County Sheriff's deputies after a disturbance at 203 E. Wilmington St., Gardner.

Ronald M. Scheel, 21, was charged with battery. Deputies said Scheel pushed, punched, and choked a 17-year-old female in the incident.
