Stangland, Kelly wed at St. Columba Church

Mr. & Mrs. Edward (Crystal) Kelly

Crystal Stangland and Edward Kelly, both of Ottawa, exchanged marriage vows at 1:30 p.m. April 25, 2009 at St. Columba Church. The Rev. David Kipfer officiated at the ceremony.

Parents of the couple are the late Tim Stangland, Rhonda Stangland of Granville, Cheri and Steve Libner and Mike Kelly, all of Earlville, and Nancy Fabor of Mendota. Grandparents of the bride are Betty and Bob Stangland of Morris.

Matron of honor was Catie Ewers of Ottawa. Bridesmaids were Phat Yoeun and Sarah Heermann, sister of the groom, both of Ottawa, and Bobbie Ollom of Earville, sister of the bride. Flower girl was Diana Stangland of Somonauk, niece of the bride.

Best man was Casey Kelly of Earlville, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Brad Greunwald and Jeremy Arellano, both of Ottawa, and Matt Olson of Streator. Ushers were Jeff Harmon and Josh Corcoran, both of Ottawa, cousins of the groom, and Tim Stangland, brother of the bride. Ringbearer was Connor Kelly of Ottawa, son of the couple.

Organist was Marilyn Kuhn, readers were Jenna Stangland and Dawn Walker and giftbearers were Molly Myers and Chad McConville.

The reception was held at Pitstick Pavilion in Ottawa.

The bride is a graduate of Earlville High School and Educators of Beauty. She is a self-employed cosmetologist.

The groom is a graduate of Marquette High School and is attending Illinois Valley Community College. He is employed by Advantage Logistics in Oglesby.

Following a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, they are residing in Ottawa.
