
Johnsons celebrate 70th anniversary
Bud and Claire Johnson of 105 Vista Dr., Seneca, Illinois 61360, will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary on Wednesday, June 17, 2009. Alvin (Bud) Johnson and the former Elizabeth (Claire) Irwin exchanged marriage vows at the home of the brides parents in Seneca on Wednesday, June 17, 1939. Bud was a farmer all of his life, and Claire was a homemaker, church organist, and Sunday School teacher. They are members of the Seneca Methodist Church. The couples nieces and nephews want to wish a special uncle and aunt, Bud and Claire Johnson, a “Happy 70th Wedding Anniversary.” |
