Rebecca Lee Hemphill and Aaron Michael Rogers, both of Ames, Iowa, are happy to announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Monty and Nancy Hemphill of Ellsworth, Iowa.

The prospective groom is the son of Robert and Claudia Rogers of Morris.

The bride-elect is a 1997 graduate of South Hamilton High School of Jewell, Iowa. She graduated from Iowa State University in 2003 with a degree in housing. She is employed as a product specialist with Hy-Vee.

The future groom is a 1993 graduate of Morris Community High School and a 1998 graduate of Iowa State University with a degree in computer science. He is employed as a database administrator with Iowa State University. A July 11, 2009 wedding is planned at the Trinity Lutheran Church of Ellsworth, Iowa.
