Student completes studies in Nuclear Engineering Technology
ALBANY, N.Y. — John S. Moser of Coal City has earned a bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Engineering Technology from Excelsior College.
Excelsior College (www.excelsior.edu) is an accredited, private, nonprofit institution that focuses on the needs of working adults.
Its primary mission is to increase access to a college degree for adult learners by removing obstacles to their educational goals.
Founded in 1971 and located in Albany, N.Y., it is accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
Excelsior College’s bachelor’s degrees in nuclear engineering technology and electronics engineering technology are accredited by the Technology Accreditation Commission (TAC) of the Accreditation Board for Engineering Technology (ABET).
Morris student graduates from Millikin University
Jaclyn Amber Smith of Morris, a 2005 graduate of Morris Community High School, graduated May 17, 2009 from Millikin University in Decatur with highest honors, Summa Cum Laude. She majored in Political Science and minored in French.
Jaclyn has been hired by the State of Illinois in the Illinois Student Assistance Commission for the Pilot Program of the ISAC Corps.
Blackwell earns journalism degree from Dominican U.
Thomas Blackwell, a resident of River Forest, graduated from Dominican University in May with a bachelor’s degree in journalism, sum laude.
Blackwell is a graduate of Morris Community High School.
