Bobby Dean Clemmons Sr.

BELLA VISTA, Ark. — Mr. Bobby Dean Clemmons Sr., 76, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2009, at his home.

Born Aug. 18, 1933, in Lefors, Texas, Bobby was the son of George and Mary Clemmons.

He was employed by Northern Natural Gas, Northern Petrochemical and UPG for 33 years. He retired to Bella Vista at the age of 52. He enjoyed golfing, working working, Chicago Cubs and John Wayne movies.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Espanieta, and a brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Betty Clemmons.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda, of 57 years; two sons and daughters-in-laws, Charlie and Pat Clemmons and Bobby Jr. and Terri Clemmons, all of Morris; a daughter, Melissa Clemmons of Centerton, Ark.; two brothers and sister-in-laws, Eddie and Anita Clemmons and Noal and Linda Clemmons, all of Texas; seven grandchildren, Mike, Mark, Olivia, Alex, Nick, Drew and Luke; and eight grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4, at the Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, at the Bella Vista Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael McCauley. Burial will be at the Bella Vista Cemetery.
