Rosemary Barra

SENECA — Mrs. Rosemary Barra, 73, of Seneca, passed away Thursday, Sept. 3, 2009, at Morris Hospital and Healthcare Centers.

Osborne-Nelson oversaw the cremation.

A Celebration of Life will take place at 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, 2009, at Nicky’s Restaurant and Lounge in Seneca.

Born Dec. 26, 1935, in Isabel, S.D, Rosemary was the daughter of Julius and Emma (Paff) Neiman. She married Richard Barra on July 4, 1953, in Harrison, Ark. Rosemary retired from Stockdale Fertilizer after 35 years of service.

She is survived by her husband; one son, Richard (Debra) of Naplate; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Ramona Pelligrini; and one brother, Harlan Neiman.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Kathryn; two sisters; and one brother.
