BRIEFS: Lions Club to serve Oct. 4 breakfast

GARDNER — The Gardner Lions Club will serve breakfast at the Gardner American Legion Hall from 7 a.m. until noon on Sunday, Oct. 4.

The menu will consist of pancakes, eggs, sausage or bacon, biscuits and gravy and  toast.

The cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children ages 5-12. Children under 5 eat for free.

Funds raised will benefit the Gardner South Wilmington Prom Lock-In.



Minooka Fire Dept. hosts breakfast

MINOOKA — The Minooka Fire Department will hold its annual Fire Prevention Week Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, Oct. 4, from 8 a.m. until noon at the station located at 413 Mondamin St., Minooka.

Cost for adults $5 and children, $2, all you can eat.
