Haunted Woods  to be held Oct. 24

SOUTH WILMINGTON — The South Wilmington Sportsman’s Club hosts its annual Haunted Woods from dark until 10 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24, at 24628 County Line Road, Essex.

The event is open to the public.  Admission is a donation of cash or non-perishable goods that will be donated to the Braidwood Food Shelf program to help feed local families.

Last year, they donated a truck load of food and money to help support their cause.

The club, along with lots of volunteers, is able to provide families with a spooky walk through the woods — complete with a bonfire and lots of fun.

Directions: Take Essex Road south to County Line Road, west. Enter at main gate.

For more information about this event, please call 815-458-3568 or e-mail swsclub1@aol.com.
