A Gardner man was sentenced to 60 days in the county jail and ordered to pay $6,212.42 restitution in circuit court Thursday after he pleaded guilty to a felony charge of criminal damage to property.

Ryan Aichele, 20, 114 W. Washington St., was given credit for one day served in jail. He was also placed on probation for 30 months, ordered to pay $20 per month in probation fees, $200 costs, submit a DNA sample and pay the $200 fee.

He was charged May 9 with damaging a fence and gate at the South Wilmington Fireman’s Club. A May 9 battery charge, for punching Shane Knight three times, was dismissed.

He was also placed on conditional discharge for two years and fined $200 for driving with a suspended license Aug. 23 at Illinois 53 and Huston Road. A felony charge of carrying a Colt AR 15 firearm in the vehicle, with a revoked Firearm Owner’s Identification Card, was dismissed.

Aug. 13 tickets for driving with a suspended license and not having a muffler on Illinois 53, were dismissed.
