Driver fails to signal, receives DUI citation

A DRIVER was charged with DUI by Marseilles police on Sunday, Oct. 1.

Eric Cook, 39, Marseilles, was stopped near 571 Rutland, when he failed to signal a turn.

Officers determined Cook appeared intoxicated and he was charged with DUI. He posted bond and was released.

Also on Sunday, Marseilles police ticketed Daniel Leibold, 34, Marseilles, for having open liquor on a pubic street, near 331 Main, in violation of a city ordinance.
