Morris man cited for driving with suspended license

A LOCAL motorist was cited Wednesday by Morris police during a traffic stop in the 1300 block of North Division Street.

Magdaleno Perez, 31, 217 Liberty St., was arrested for driving on a suspended driver’s license. Arresting Officer Ben Wiechen stopped Perez after spotting him driving in the 1400 block of Illinois 47, and knew the motorist’s license was suspended.

Perez was released from custody after posting $100 bond.
