BRIEFS: Train exhibit chugs into MorrisRailroad buffs of all ages will enjoy an exhibit of model trains at the Morris Area Public Library from Thursday, Nov. 18 through Saturday, Nov. 21. The elaborate display takes up an entire room in the library’s lower level and is guaranteed to fascinate and delight fans of model trains. The N-Track scale trains are owned by members of the Heritage N-Trak Group of Channahon, who are setting up the large exhibit. Club members will be on hand to run their trains and answer the questions of model railroad enthusiasts. Viewing times are 3:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday. COAL CITY — A free Thanksgiving dinner will be served to all on Sunday, Nov. 22, from 1 to 4 p.m., at Berst Center, 180 S. Kankakee Street in Coal City. Carry-outs will be available in the Madonna Room at the center. Donations will be accepted at the event for the local food pantries. Comments
