
Woman hurt when she collides with snow-plowing truckA WOMAN who collided with a truck plowing snow in Carbon Hill about 11:10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 26, was taken to Morris Hospital by Coal City Ambulance. Lelia Lawrence, 45, Hazel Crest, was taken to the hospital when she complained of shoulder pain. Sgt. Mark Sajnaj reported Charles Bumgardner, 63, Rathburn Street, Carbon Hill, was driving a Chevrolet truck, plowing snow, westbound on Perry Street, when he stopped at Fifth Street. Bumgardner entered the intersection and Lawrence, who was southbound on Fifth Street, struck the right side of the truck. |
