Vince Lombardi's Fedora regarding MLB preview: Detroit Tigers
Are YOU an idiot, Tigers For Life? Championships aren't won on statistics or who has the most superstars (see Miami Heat). On paper, the Tigers look great but we'll see what happens over the course of a 162 game season. Nothing is a given in sports...look at the NY Giants...from 7-7 to Super Bowl champions. As far as I'm concerned, the Rangers are still the team to beat in the A.L.-they've won that league 2 years in a row. And the Yankees and Red Sox are 2 and 3 because they've been there before and still have the pieces to do it again. Let's not crown Detroit World Champs just yet.

He was doing what in the first place? Was he serious thinking that inside Conservative money would fund his campaign ?
eastwestchef regarding State should follow Reagan’s example
Too bad Rutherford is a liar, I voted for him in the past, didn't know he liked to rewrite history. Take every fact and google it yourself. He bats a 1000 for creating a false positive.

It is also a shame about our area, being attractive to petrochemical, nuclear, and chemical plants also. Let's not forget the coal mines, brewery, leather tanning, asphalt and cement plants. And it was a time we were the open pipeline when Chicago flushed its toilet with the big handle. As a kid I wondered why older adults seemed so grumpy, literally hated a lot of things that my generation wanted, long hair, loud music, and drugs. All the time hating wars and politicians and goofy laws like seat belts. Now Im older, grumpy, hate kids new things including wars, pols, and drugs.

Are you an idiot?
6th best A.L. offense maybe even 7th if the Blue Jays put it together? You are an idiot.
First off all the B.J.'s have is Bautista.
Try and name an A.L. team with a more potent offense than the Tigers. And don't say the Yankees, Red Sox, or White Sox. Yankees are old celebrity players, same with both Sox teams.
Trying watching some games before you write this garbage.
It should be:
1st: Tigers, get over it, they have two guys who could each hit 40 home runs.
2nd: Rangers
3rd: Red Sox
4th: Yankees
5th: Angels
Get your mind right fool
Saratoga regarding Host agreement to go before council
I think that our administration (as well as previous) has thought about future generations; but the overwhelming mindset is the money/revenue that it can bring in now for the present. Future generations will have to deal with decisions that our Mayor and council members have made. Time will tell and we won't be around to point the finger. It's a shame about our area, it's only attractive to dig a big hole and bury garbage.
Shadow regarding Salvaging Newt
Newt and Michael Reagan are exactly what is wrong with the country. With a government that is often divided, the only way to pass meaningful legislation is to compromise.
workaholic regarding Manzullo earns Illinois Tea Party endorsement
TP endorsement gets my vote this March...for Kinzinger.

Yorkville dealt with a a new landfill in the middle of prime subdivisions . Morris has developed industrial on the east and west and the old landfill to the south. In this case depending on what is left to the north is questionable for loss of land value. But it is a valid point to consider. So far Hornsby's Birds and Water pollution are not getting traction, the science says the world is round, not flat according to King Arthur. Money talks and people will not stop tossing garbage from dime stores. I forgot, what is the honorable reason not to expand the landfill?
