(MCT) — A shopper was arrested for shoving a veteran off-duty Kendall County Sheriff’s deputy who pointed a gun at him Sunday in a busy Wal-Mart checkout line in west suburban Oswego.

La Salle County deputies investigated a single vehicle accident on N. 30th Road near E. 2150th Road in Rutland Township, Sunday, Jan. 22 at 4:30 a.m. The driver, Terry A Muffler, of Marseilles, was taken to Ottawa Regional Hospital. No citations were issued.
