MINOOKA — The Minooka Indians' boys basketball team was able to regroup from its tough overtime road loss to Plainfield East this past Friday night, getting a victory over the Oswego Panthers 60-45 in Southwest Prairie action Tuesday night.

The Minooka girls bowling team is headed back to the IHSA State Tournament.
BEECHER — After Seneca's 53-31 win over Wilmington at the Class 2A Beecher Regional on Tuesday, Wildcats coach Andrew Johnson called the Lady Irish "a complete team."
JOLIET — Just the same as their team goals this year, the pins are starting to fall like dominoes for the Minooka girls bowling team. Coming off a state-high pin total of 6,182 this past weekend at the Joliet West Sectional, the Indians are feeling confident as they prepare for a state appearance this coming weekend.
BEECHER — For the first three quarters of the Beecher Class 2A Girls Basketball Regional quarterfinal, Reed-Custer had just three field goals. Still, in spite of everything, the Comets only trailed Coal City by 10 points heading into the final quarter.
